NOTES

This is Steven’s Great Grandfather Henry Horst. He routinely made this
candy at Christmas for everyone to enjoy. The tradition still continues through Vicky and Cindy with Steven still there to gobble them up.

DIRECTIONS

Line 1-2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or a large bowl over a pan of hot water on the stove. Cook while stirring occasionally until melted and smooth (about 10-15 minutes). Let cool for 3-5 minutes, then stir in nuts.

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Spoon out a dollop of the chocolate peanut mixture onto the parchment and press down with a spoon.

Repeat until all the mixture is gone. You should be able to make approximately 25 clusters depending on their size.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour or until solid.
