In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, pretzels, garlic chips and nuts. Set aside.
In 4-cup microwavable measuring cup, place ale. Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until reduced to 1/2 cup. Stir in brown sugar, butter, worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and cayenne pepper. Microwave on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
*Option 1: Microwave uncovered on High 5-6 to minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture just begins to brown. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
*Option 2: Pre-heat oven to 250°. Put cereal and seasoning mixture into ungreased roasting pan and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.
