7-Layer Magic Bars

INGREDIENTS

1  1/2 c. crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. butterscotch or toffee chips
1 1/3 c. sweetened flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts 

NOTES

DIRECTIONS

Spread melted butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle crumbs over butter and combine. Evenly press crumbs into pan.

Drizzle milk over crumbs and smooth to cover entire surface.

Sprinkle the next 5 ingredients over top.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until light brown around edges.

Cool completely before cutting into bars. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Seven Layer Bars
Ingredients:
Non-stick cooking spray
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips (optional)
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a small bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form a crust.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust.
Layer the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips (if using), flaked coconut, and chopped nuts evenly over the condensed milk.
Press the layers down gently with a spatula to compact them.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.
