Oven Skillet Beef and Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

1 lb. ground beef
2 large potatoes
1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic
1 pack
au jus gravy
2 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 /2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
1/4 tsp. spice blend, Serendipity like

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Heat oil in pan then saute the onions until just browning, add salt and garlic.

Push onions and garlic along sides then add beef in center to brown. Salt and pepper. Add 2-3 cloves garlic to onions around edge. Once meat is brown combine with onions and garlic.

While meat is cooking, prep potatoes by thin slicing them. Drizzle the potatoes with oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Rub potatoes in mixture to coat.

Add au jus package with 2 ½ cups water and whisk.

Once meat mixture is browned, drain any excess oil. Lower heat and add au jus to meat. Once simmering, turn off heat. Stir until thickening. Carefully top with sliced potatoes and lightly season with favorite spice seasoning. (i.e. Serendipity)

Bake for 45 minutes. Serve topped with sour cream and chives.
