Ann's Meatloaf

1 slice bread, crumbled
1 egg
splash of milk
2 lbs. ground beef or bison
1/4 c. chopped onion, sautéed
4-5 fresh mushrooms, chopped
1-2 cloves garlic
3/4 – 1 tsp. dry mustard
2 T. worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper, to taste
2 – 3 cans tomato sauce, 8 oz.
dash of dried or fresh parsley



This delicious recipe is from sweet Ann Perry. The ingredients can be adjusted as per your preference.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 

Combine egg with bread crumbs in bowl. Add splash of milk and gently combine.

Add next 7 ingredients and gently mix with clean hands. Form into loaf. 

Pour 1 can of tomato sauce into bottom of cast iron skillet. Place meatloaf into sauce and top with 1 can tomato sauce.

Sprinkle with parsley and bake uncovered for 1 hour. Serve.
